VIRGINIA SCHEIHING MATAMALA is a leader in the Requirement Team (CRT) of Evertec Chile. Virginia is a Civil Engineer in Computer Science, graduated from the University of Austral in Chile. She has more than 16 years of experience in the area of technology project management, project implementation and process improvement.
Virginia is a person of solid values, leadership skills, ability to establish communication at all levels, assertive, with a great capacity for learning, persevering, practical, proactive, with analytical skills and highly oriented towards achieving goals.
In 2009 she led the formation of the EFT Group Innovation Center in the city of Valdivia, Chile, supporting the research and development of new technologies. While in that same country, in 2011, she created and led the EFT Group software factory in the city of Temuco.
We are proud to have women like Virginia, at Evertec, women who demonstrate and ensure that our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion are integrated into our business practices and decisions. This commitment has led us to be recognized and included, for the third time in a row, in Bloomberg’s Gender Equality Index.
