Meet one of our leaders:
KARLA CHAMORRO DE ARIAS is the Vice President of Issuing, Acquiring, ATM & Risk Products at Evertec.
She has extensive experience in the electronic payments industry and in areas as diverse as strategic planning, team building, motivation and communication, as well as negotiation.
Before signing up for her current role, she served as Evertec’s Commercial Vice President in charge of Customer Relations in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean; prior to that, as regional manager for PayGroup in charge of business development in Central America. She also was the General Manager of First Data’s Central America and Caribbean (CAC) processing center and spearheaded the expansion of the Panama office from 15 local clients to 34 regional clients in 11 countries.
Her studies are in Information Systems Administration (MIS) and International Business. She holds a Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and a degree in Senior Management.
