Ingenico Group and Evertec deploy Merchant Service Hub solution in Costa Rica and Panama

Ingenico Group (Euronext: FR0000125346 – ING), the global leader in seamless payment and Evertec, a leader in payment processing in Latin America, jointly announce the launch of their Merchant Service Hub (MSH) in Costa Rica and Panama. This is the first time this solution will be available as SAAS (software as a service) in the north of Latin America region.

Ingenico Group and Evertec expanded their strong partnership to provide their clients with a fully integrated business intelligence solution including reporting and analytic services to complement their existing hardware solution.

 

The solution

The Merchant Service Hub (“MSH”) will collect non-sensitive payment data from standalone POS, centralize all information and will provide merchants and estate owners with business intelligence services that will be available through a self-service, web portal. This solution is a web-based platform – flexible, scalable and designed with state-of-the-art big data technologies – that integrates seamlessly with the terminals increasing the value of the solution for estate owners. The Merchant Service Hub is available in Costa Rica, after a successful pilot deployed in various coffee shops in Panama.

 

Improving customer knowledge, business performance and security for clients

The MSH aims at improving customer knowledge and business performance, by offering merchants a set of comprehensive and clear sales reports on daily basis. Merchants and estate owners can see and monitor their daily transactions and revenues, hourly performance metrics as well as clients’ average basket, providing them with specific sales KPIs and insights on their business activity.

Real-time monitoring and alerts together offer better store tracking and improved monitoring to detect any suspicious activity. Thanks to massive data querying and exporting capabilities, the solution improves internal accounting processes and facilitates business management providing merchants with simultaneous tracking of their stores.

 

Enriching customer experience with a lighter environmental footprint

Thanks to our digital receipt service, the MSH solution has real environmental benefits. It helps to reduce paper waste production and carbon footprint up to 21 kg of CO2e per terminal and per year, ensuring compliance with current regulation on electronic invoicing in Costa Rica.
