Morgan M. “Mac” Schuessler
President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Leads Evertec’s strategic vision and growth, serving as President, CEO, and member of the Board since 2015. He brings more than 25 years of global experience in technology and payments, with executive roles at Global Payments Inc. and American Express. He has also served on the boards of international payments organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School.
Joaquin Castrillo
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Oversees all comercial operations across the organization, driving organic growth, strategic execution, and operational integration across all Evertec markets. He has more than a decade of experience at the company and previously served as Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Evertec, he worked at PwC as an Audit Manager in the Banking & Capital Markets group. He holds a B.B.A. with dual concentrations in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Villanova Finance Department Advisory Committee and a board member of Endeavor Puerto Rico.
Paola Pérez Surillo
Group Head, Puerto Rico & Caribbean
Leads commercial operations, growth strategy, and client relationships in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean. She has more than a decade of experience at Evertec, with executive roles in business operations and risks, talent management, and internal audit. She began her career at PwC, focused on financial services and the health sector. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of Fairfield University with a degree in Accounting. She serves a Board of Director of Lectores para el Futuro a non-for-profit organization in Puerto Rico.
Luis A. Rodríguez
Chief Legal & Administrative Officer
Oversees Evertec’s legal, compliance, risk, and information security functions. He joined the company in 2015 after a career in law and finance that included roles as Executive Director at J.P. Morgan in New York, Vice President in the Distressed Products Group at Deutsche Bank, and Associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP. Earlier in his career, he served as Assistant Secretary at the Department of Economic Development and Commerce of Puerto Rico. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School.
Diego Viglianco
Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Leads Evertec’s technology strategy, digital transformation, and information systems operations. He has more than 30 years of experience in technology, operations, and payments, with executive roles at Interbanking S.A., Prisma Medios de Pago, and Mastercard. He holds a degree in Engineering from Universidad del Salvador in Argentina and an MBA in Economics and Business Administration from Universidad ESEADE in Argentina.
Daniel Brignardello
Group Head, Latin America
Leads commercial operations, growth strategy, and client relationships across Latin America. He has more than 20 years of experience in technology, operations, and payment services in the region, with executive roles at Evertec and previous experience at PayTrue. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Universidad de la República in Uruguay and completed the Program for Management Development (PMD) at ESADE Business School.
Mike Vizcarrondo
Chief Product & Innovation Officer
Oversees product strategy, innovation, and the development of payment solutions across all Evertec markets. He has over 25 years of experience in the financial and payments industry, including executive roles within Evertec and a prior career at Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. He holds a degree in Management with a concentration in Finance from Tulane University.
Karla Cruz Jusino
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Leads Evertec’s global finance organization, including financial planning, corporate accounting and taxes, treasury, investor relations, financial reporting, and oversight of internal controls in alignment with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations. With over 18 years of experience in auditing and finance, she has held key leadership roles at Evertec and previously worked as an assurance director at PwC. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico.
Alberto López Gaffney
Chief Strategy & Corporate Development
Leads corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and communications for Evertec. He has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and financial leadership, with executive roles at Despegar.com, TGLT, Itaú BBA, and Morgan Stanley. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Master’s in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Católica de Argentina.
Claudio Prado
Group Head, Brazil
Leads commercial operations, growth strategy, and client relationships in Brazil. He has more than 25 years of experience in technology, operations, and financial services, with executive roles at Sinqia —acquired by Evertec in 2023— as well as Grupo Fleury, Deutsche Bank, Grupo Santander, and Total Express. He holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Computer Engineering from Universidade de São Paulo (USP).
Yadhira Rodríguez
Chief Human Resources Officer
Oversees the global Human Resources function, including talent strategy, people development, organizational culture, and employee engagement. Since joining Evertec in 2016, she has held leadership roles in legal and compliance, driving corporate compliance and ethics initiatives. Previously, she practiced labor and employment law at O’Neill & Borges LLC. She holds a Juris Doctor and an MBA from the University of Puerto Rico, where she also earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Human Resources. She is a licensed attorney in Puerto Rico.
