Biometric face recognition technology available in Puerto Rico
SENSE SOFTWARE, an EVERTEC company specializing in business solutions for the human resources area, has incorporated biometric face recognition technology to its HR-Sense Time and Attendance registration product. This makes it the first and only supplier in the region to incorporate this technology into its human resources offerings.
Using this biometric device in combination with SENSE SOFTWARE tools, ensures that the employee who records their attendance is who they claim to be and transmits the correct information to the payroll system and human resources.
When a company chooses this new solution, pictures are taken from different angles and facial expressions of the people who will be registered in the attendance system. Subsequently, for the time registry, in just seconds the image obtained is compared with the details of the one previously recorded, such as structure, form and face proportions; the eyes and the distance between them; the mouth, jaw, and the location of the nose.
This technology is ideal for those companies with high control and compliance standards, such as pharmaceuticals, some government agencies and highly specialized equipment manufacturing companies.
